If you are a Windows 7 user you may have noticed and be irritated by the Skype icon always being present in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen when you are signed in, rather than just nicely tucked away in the system tray on the bottom right by the clock – well if you update to the latest version of Skype – Skype ->Help->Check for Updates – and then go to Skype->Tools->Options->Advanced and uncheck the ‘Keep Skype in the Taskbar when I’m signed in’ box, your ‘problem’ will go away
